I have a number of property types with sub-types.

I need to have a menu listing the primary types without the sub-types.

When I add the Types Module, it lists all types including the sub-types, is it possible for the module to only list the primary types (that is exclude the sub-types) ?

That would be great. At the moment I am working around the issue clumsily by manually creating the menu.
