Hi,

I am wondering whether anyone has managed to implement "Delete" & "Add Photos" links buttons in the Property Manager?

Without going to each individual listing to add photos or delete, we should have a links in the property manager to carry out these tasks.

Thanks.

I think I understand how delete would work, but what do you mean by add photos, would it go directly to the add photos page?

In the Property Manager, let's assume we have 5 property listings. For each listing, we have an edit icon. Likewise, for each property listing, we need a 'Delete' and 'Add Photos' buttons. The user can press the delete button to delete each listing. The add photos button will directly go to each listing's photos page. This will enhance the user interface.

Currently, first we need to go to edit property and then move to add photos. This means an extra step and some users will have trouble finding how to add photos to a listing. I recently did a usability test and the user had trouble adding photos to the listing. I can post a link to the video here if you like to have a look.

Another important enhancement would be do add a "Preview/Modify" button on the photos page. This will mean the edit property page will be step 1, the add photos will be step 2 and the "Preview/Modify" will be step 3. At the last step, the user can submit the listing after previewing or choose to go back to the edit property page. You can probably use the existing property page to show a preview.

Yes I agree there need to be more action buttons available for Property manager as listed above ....however would even be better if Scott could make Property Manage templatable - that way we could customise it to what ever we want :-)
What you think of the idea?

That's a good idea. I think it will be a lot of coding effort to make the Property Manager templateable. In the short term, having those action buttons will make the Property Manager more usable and will enhance the interface.
