I have tried property agent before but it had no such feature and it was difficult for me to submit all properties one by one so I did not use it... now I'd like to ask if the feature for bulk uploading was implemented? or will it evr be if it was not.... I have seen something on snowcovered that would backup/restore property agent maybe it will work as bulk upload but I am not sure and the author of the product is not ventrian so I was not sure if I should buy this module

No it's not Scott will be adding a bulk upload for images but this applies to one property only. So you would still have to add each property by hand. I admit that it work be a great feature as ading 10000 properties by hand work take about 41 years. However I would imagine that this would be a difficult task to implement. Maybe Scott will give us more info But I think i will have a look at that module you mention myself. Sounds intresting. Cheers

tell me about that !!! we have hundreds of properties in and out in a week... without bulk upload i'd be spending all my time just adding properties ... i d be more sure about that module if it'd be from ventrian...

btw it's here... http://www.snowcovered.com/snowcovered2/Default.aspx?tabid=242&PackageID=10752 called 80019 Ventrian Property Agent Import & Export 1.1.0 but still I am not sure about the fact that it is not from Scott, and I will not buy it ( unless Scott will say it's ok %) )I would rather pay to Scott for a module with bulk upload !

I have already had a lok at this module but I am not sure whether it could an import. his module is specifically for exporting your entire database of properties and then importing them back to another or the same instance of property agent. I would have thought that it exports in xml or sql, so how one would build something that could import your records would be tricky what format do you recive your listings in. A great deal of my listings are sent to me by hand or are added by my sites users. An import wouldnt really work for me unless I had an agreement with another property agent where they provided me with access to there database Cheers

i receive them in different formats... but i think excel table upload format will be so good for me ....

In any case bulk image upload for a single propery would save time to anyone I wonder what are the dificulities and it hasnt been implemented since the know how exist.

meltoner... I was not talking about bulk image upload rather a bulk property upload.. together with images and everything else... maybe I will try to order it from Scott as custom made...
