Hi!

Is there any way to open Property Manager screen or Add/Edit Propery in admin skin, like it can be done with edit mode of many other modules (Text/HTML and similar)?

Since site's design doesn't give much space for editing Property stuff inside public site's skin, I use default DNN skin as admin skin, so it's opened when editing stuff inside other modules...

In Module definitions I can see only View control (default.ascx), and other controls like EditProperties.ascx are not available there.

I guess I can reprogram module a bit, but if there is some other way... :)

Thanks!

Unfortunately, most people don't like it opening in the admin skin, that's why most modules use the current skin and load the form in place.

News articles has an option to switch between the 2 modes, but property agent doesn't.

I don't think people mind it if the editing screen opens in an admin skin. It's just the details view that shouldn't.

I suggested this for News articles as well in this post under "Launch editor in admin page": http://www.ventrian.com/Support/ProductForums/tabid/118/forumid/4/postid/32556/view/topic/Default.aspx

I've had the same experience in simple gallery, news articles, etc.

When they open up the security to allow normal registered users to post articles, photos, most complained that it used the admin skin. This was why it was changed from using it. Many had an admin skin specifically just for admins.

You can already do this for news articles using Launch Links set to false.

A point in example is this forum, when creating a new post, it loads in the same place and does not use the admin skin. Coding for both options requires a lot of additional code.
