Scott,

I have a need for a comments/feedback field in the property agent.  Something where registered users can post a comment about the product listed and unauthenticated users can view the postings.  Almost like integrating Shoutbox into property agent.  Is this a possibility in the very near future?

Thanks!

There is comment functionality within property agent, see demo here

You can take a look at the card template to see how it was implemented, it just uses a series of tokens for the form and layout.

Scott,

Can you post the code and tags for the Layout Files for "View"...  the Item itself seems to be the code I need.  I downloaded the latest template or World of Warcraft and it isn't working on my site like it is on your example.  I am sure I am missing something.

Thanks again for all your help!

try this:

[/HASAGENT] Reviews

[HASNOCOMMENTS] Be
the first to write a review!

[/HASNOCOMMENTS][HASCOMMENTS] There
have been [RATINGCOUNT] reviews with an average
rating of [RATINGAVG] ([RATINGVALUE])

[COMMENTS]

[/HASCOMMENTS] [COMMENTFORM]

Scott I'm confused about Comments/Ratings:

1.How does someone actually "vote" a rating? Are you supposed to be able to click the stars?

2.What is the COMMENT layout for? How do you ever get to a COMMENTS page? I only see how to incorporate the [COMMENTFORM] on the VIEW page. So how can I use the TOKENS you have listed in Apend A under COMMENTS?

thx, D.

1. Yes, if you haven't rating that item. See here.

2. Comment layout is for display the comments embedded in view or listing page. To load up your comments, use the [COMMENTS] token, this will add comments to the page using header/item/footer for comments. See here for an example of them on the same page.

for WorldOfWarcraft demo template:

1. In Listing.Item.html I see [RATINGS] and the stars are editable but once I click for View.Item.html they are no longer editable and I see the same [RATINGS] token used. So not sure how this works...

2. Sorry, braindead.

1. They are editable for me? Link. Once you have rated an item though, it is no longer editable, is that the issue?
