Hi there,

I am using the Property Agent Search Module on this page here http://evolve180.xdc2.com/talent-position-search.aspx

Is there a way i can make the default text say "" instead of the current "

Do you mean edit the search template, then the answer is yes

You have search item, header and footer that you can edit

Hope that helps

Hi Scott - Paul posted that question and he's going to look at this on Monday. I don't believe he got the reply before he left on Friday afternoon.

I also still have that issue with the email link when applying for a job, it attaches job details in FF but not in IE.

We think this is an amazing module - I'll get Paul to give you feedback on Monday - he's the expert these days.

Cheers

Nina

Can you send me a link to the page where the email link doesn't work? (support@ventrian.com)

Hi, Sorry i had posted under Nina's name - sorry to cause any confusion there.

Not sure what happened to my first post either, its all jumbled with the inverted commers.

I had a look at the Search templates but i cannot see where to edit the word that says Select to say All in the drop down field.

Scott, I am about to send you through that email so you will probably have it by the time you read this :)

Thanks again.
Paul.

Do you mean you would like the default text in your two dropdowns to say something other than "Select Location" and " Select Profession" or do you want an "Search All" option in each

Sorry still a little confused.

You can edit the Select Location word in the custom feild settings, if that helps

I would like to change the text 'Select Location' to say 'All Location' and also 'Select Position' to 'All Position' - so what you first said in your last post.

I can change the words location and position easy enough in the Custom Field Settings but cannot find where to change the word select to all.

Hi, Paul,

I changed this in EditProperty.ascx.resx file in DesktopModules\PropertyAgent\App_LocalResources directory...
Values to change are "Select [PROPERTYTYPELABEL]" - for Property Types (you can change [PROPERTYTYPELABEL] in Layout Settings) and "Select [VALUE]" for custom fields...

I know this is no good, because of the updates, but coudn't find another way...

cheers,

st.

Im really not sure whats going on anymore. It seesm that I am talking to 3 different people

I dont think you can get a custom feilds dropdown to search all the feilds anyway. But ill have a look for you

thank you dgtalspace i was able to get the wording changed. The only downside is as you said is that i have to change it everytime i update the Property Agent Module - but i can live with that.

Thank you everyone for your help. :)
