Hi Scott, Max lenght is not working for multi line Texbox customfield ? Can you confirm this is a bug? Glen

I could say also that it doesn't work. But, as HTML object, multiline textbox (i.e. textarea) doesn't support maximum length property. It can be achieved with using Javascript, but it probably wasn't used here.

I think mirakuli is spot on, some javascript will need to be added in to restrict char length.

What is the story with this now? I am trying to use Max Length to limit a multiline textbox, but it doesn't work. Am I missing something? if it is in the UI, seems like it should work. Does it work with a single line text box?

The .net framework allows you to try and restrict the max length, but it doesn't work, I need to implement javascript for this item.

i have the same problem, i need to limit the num. of characters for title and description, i do it from edit custom fields but it does not seem to work, will you fix it sometime soon Scott?
