Hello,

Using DNN Version 4.6.2  Currnet version of Property Agent...

Everthing is working fine except the Agent Image is not showing up... And yes there is an image set up in the Users Profile page....... I am using just the real estate template that I downloaded from this site...

Any Ideas what I might have to do to get the image to show up....  It is a Jpeg image at  150X225  Res 72.

Thanks

Dyzan

Where is the Agent Image stored? It's not a standard part of the user profile. What am I missing?

I found a link to a build for Property Agent to enable photos for agents. Problem, the link goes to a non functioning website - http://21fiveindustries.com/Downloads/tabid/53/Default.aspx . Here is a link to the reference on this site - http://www.ventrian.com/Support/ProductForums/tabid/118/forumid/1/postid/24927/view/topic/Default.aspx

This add-on went buggy and, as has been mentioned, the developer is nowhere to be found. However, I've still got the PA and source code for it and have been looking for someone with the skills and knowledge to pick it up again... anyone?

Either that or perhaps Cambrian will have a profile image option in it.. anyone here on the beta for that?

Thanks for the info... Do you by chance know how to get the "Agent Image" to work in Property Agent? It works on this site. I noticed that the module pulls information from the user profile. What makes it work on this site I suspect is this sites ability to upload an image in your user profile.

Any help with this issue would be a great help. It's driving me crazy!!!

Thanks,

David

It's the tool that you linked to, and that I talked about in my post. It's an add-on that does profile pictures.

Thanks again for the info. Maybe I could have written that last reply with a little more clairity. I do understand that that build went buggy and the developer is nowhere to be found. What my question should have been - If the [AGENT:image] in Property Agent is working on this site, how can I make it work on mine?

Thanks again for any help,

David

Yes Scott, I did receive it and installed it. But I'm not doing something right...When I login with the site and go to Manage Profile the browse for a picture bar is there but there is no upload button. If I browse and select a picture file and then update the profile no picture shows up with the option to remove it. Any suggestions...

If you have a minute, register with the site and try it. www.propertyatthebeach.com

Thanks for the follow up Scott,

David

WOW! You went through all of that, and it's still is not working? I'm hoping Scott comes through with an answer. I'm using a new version of DNN as well. I wish I understood more. To get as far as a place to upload the picture, but then no upload button is just a little to close for not making it. If you know what I mean....

David, I did not have an upload button present on my control. If you take a look at scotts, his does not have one either. You have to hit the browse button, find the pic you want and scroll down to the bottom of your profile and click update. That is supposed to upload your photo. I have the same exact control on mine as Scott does, except when I click update and go back in to my profile to check, the pic is not there. It may have something to do with the way AJAX is working, I'm not sure.

Yes, I have the same issue. I tried both ways to upload the picture. I couldn't remember if it was supposed to have an upload button or if I just had to update the profile. Either way, it still doesn't work.

I haven't tested the 3rd party add-on in DNN 4.8.2, it may require some small code changes to get it to run.

The original author shouldn't mind as they haven't been around for quite a while.

Thanks Scott,

Property Agent is with out doubt, the best Real Estate module out there! You can quote me on that. I've been looking for a long time and none of the others come close to the customization and style of Property Agent. Let me know when the changes are made and thanks for your support Scott.

Hello again Scott, could you give any idea as to when you can get around to adding the small changes to make [Agent:Image] work? My client asked me about it today.

Thanks,

David
