hi Scott! Is there away to add a custom field which will be viewed only by special roles members?
The idea is maybe to create a "download-document" template.
Title: Image (optional) Version: description:
download link:
Thanks. |

Not really, but I suppose there could be a token like:-
[ISINROLE:SOMEROLE]
Display
[/ISINROLE:SOMEROLE] |

Well now I think that the first question had to be asked is whether we can create links as custom fields? ( To create a nice link template for example.)? (I see we can use the text editor for that) Thanks again. |

I'm planning on adding more custom field types, although I think link could be just the 1 line textbox, what do you think?
Other types would be a downloadable file, etc.. |

I think that it will be will very nice but If you can make at least 2 links lines so one can be for site url link and one for the RSS link in the example I gave. (yes, a visitor should just copy the rss link, but in case you would like to add a "preview rss" tab in your site.) Thanks! |
