Hi Scott -

I have had such a great experience with this module - thank you! I have a quick question: please take a look at this site, which I'm getting ready to GO LIVE with: http://www.deadwoodrealestatecenter.com/rec/Buy/tabid/53/Default.aspx

When you click into the details of a property, you'll see that I'm pulling in the agent photos and e-mail addresses from my custom field. Now what I'd like to do for the e-mail link is display the MLS# in the subject line so that the agent knows what property the visitor is inquiring about - any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm also anxiously awaiting your add-on that will enable me to show the featured properties on the homepage :)

Thank you so much for your outstanding work!

Robin

I'd like that home as well... you should move to the Black Hills - it's beautiful here :)

You know, those houses there are cheap, dirt cheap compared to where I live (Netherlands). I live in one of the most expensive areas and such a house would cost here at least one million US dollards. I have an appartment and that costs US $ 300,000.

Hi Robin,

I'm glad you like the module! It took a long time to get the custom properties working right, but it's been worth it!

When you have an email contact link, you can supply a subject argument, i think it's something like:-

email:[EMAIL]?subject=[MLS#]

You can change it in the template editor, by the look of your site, you already know how to do this :)

Hi Scott,

I tried to pull the MLS# with this method, but when I click to send the e-mail it only pulls "[MLS#]" into the subject - not the actual value associated with that property.

I have a custom field named "Agent" and within that, I have all of the agents listed as options with the following info for each:

http://www.deadwoodrealestatecenter.com/rec/Portals/0/AgentPhotos/clay.jpg" alt="Clayton Johnson" width="89" height="112">
mailto:clay@realestatecenters.com">Clayton Johnson
(605) 578-2858

|

So, what I tried was this:

http://www.deadwoodrealestatecenter.com/rec/Portals/0/AgentPhotos/clay.jpg" alt="Clayton Johnson" width="89" height="112">
mailto:clay@realestatecenters.com?subject=[CUSTOM:MLS]">Clayton Johnson
(605) 578-2858

|

I also tried just [MLS] rather than [CUSTOM:MLS]

Any other ideas?  Or do you see something that I should have done differently?

Thanks Scott!

It should be [CUSTOM:MLS] where MLS is the name of your custom field... Maybe try printing that out somewhere in your template first, to remove it away from the email subject?
