Hi Scott,

I know we have addressed this but I am still unclear as to how you will address the following:

1.  You are updating templates on a regular basis now. I have only added one property because I figure I will need to upgrade to the latest and greatest template and have to start adding properties all over again.

Will you inform us, if and when, we can upgrade a template without losing all the property entries?

2. Currency. I understand that it works with no currency symbol and no commas. The issue will be when the vendor piece is completed, you will have the user adding data and - well you know how that goes...

They will add a comma and they will try to add a currency symbol. Are your planning on doing a strip out routine on the price input? In the states, it just seems un-natural to not add the comma seperation on a currency value.

TIA
Buck

Darn,

Thought I would get the ability to edit the last post. LOL

In regards to the new [MESSAGE] token. Am I correct in understanding that you just add the token to the search layout file? Where do you add the actual text for the message?

Hi Buck,

I have the edit permission set on creator/owner, you can't edit?

"1. You are updating templates on a regular basis now. I have only added one property because I figure I will need to upgrade to the latest and greatest template and have to start adding properties all over again."

I'll be fixing this so you have the option to merge templates (or at least just copy the new layout files which is what is generally changed)

"2. Currency. I understand that it works with no currency symbol and no commas. The issue will be when the vendor piece is completed, you will have the user adding data and - well you know how that goes..."

I've been thinking about this, I didn't implement the removal routine because of decimal points and thinking about the different currency formats. This is still on my radar though.

Thanks for the update. No, I don't get the ability to edit a post.  :o(

Hi Buck,

I've added a new option when changing templates to only copy layout files, this should solve your issue in the original post
