Hi, I was just wondering if how this module is set up right now if I would be able to use it for a simple job module? I would just need to add a few main job categories, and for each job have a: title, job number, contact info / email, description. That should be it. Thanks!

Yes, most definately, I've set it up for things such as cars and trading cards If you take a look at the 2 documentation guides, it should give you a fair indication of what you can use it for.

Hi Scott, I am also interested in using this module for job listings and have recently started modifying templates and fields to set this up. Just a quick question, in your real estate demo at http://www.ventrian.com/Products/Modules/PropertyAgent/Demos/RealEstate/tabid/304/agentType/View/PropertyID/6/Default.aspx you have Name, Phone, Email, and Message fields in the More Information section. Is it possible to also add a Remume field to the More Information section that would allow users to upload/attach a remume to their contact email as we would really need this to allow users to apply for jobs? If so how do I do this? Thanks

I had someone else ask about the contact form today, they wanted to add a "Zip" code to it. It's currently fixed in the amount of fields it has. Originally, I wanted to implement it using custom fields (similar to property definition), but a 3rd party implemented this item and unfortunately it didn't have this functionality. So there is no easy way to customise that form at the moment.

Thanks for the reply Scott. I may have to try to modify the contact form myself for now. Out of interest are there plans to implement custom fields for the contact form in the future?

Yep, there are a few other enhancements in the pipeline though first.
