This week has been a good week for the Estate Agent module.

Now, I have:-

  • Fully Functioning "Property Manager", allows you to edit and add properties
  • Full custom field support, featuring the following field types:-
    • Single Line Textbox
    • Multiple Line Textbox
    • Rich Text Editor
    • DropDownList
    • CheckBox
    • CheckBoxList
    • RadioButtonList
  • Lots of options for the custom field support, including support for default values and the ability to specify entries to a list control, e.g. dropdown list, checkbox.
  • Lots of other tidy up issues.

What is left:-

  • Add photos to property
  • Template layout using custom fields (currently it just displays the custom fields on the screen, based on sort order).
  • Template to initialize the module, when first loading the module, you will be asked what template do you want to use. It does this, so it can initialize the custom fields.
  • Add featured properties to featured section on front screen.

After the above is done, it will be ready for a beta release.

Attached is a screenshot of an addition of a property using every custom field type. The only hardcoded type on the page is "type", this will allow you to use the module for virtually anything, e.g. cars, boats, books, etc.
