This screen represents the "Search Results" of the "Estate Agent" module.
From the two attachment (one GIF and the other visio), you can see what the results screen of the "Estate Agent" module will look like.
Any comments are much appreciated, there will be other designs posted. This is your chance to participate in the development of a new Ventrian module. |

Looks good!, few things...
Since not all listings are just houses (ie some are lots with no houses on them) I would put Lot Size as a token next to Type, Bed, Bath instead of Garage.
For the Agent's logo, i would just put Listed By: [Agent Name] The logo would make more sense in a public listing site where different agents/companies pay to have listings put on a site. I would guess most people will use this as a one company/agent module in the beginning and the name could link to the agents profile or contact info.
Were the "Updated" and "New!" going to be automaically put somewhere in the listings? I really like that idea.
Also, I am sure you were going to do this but make the picture linked to property details as well. |

I'm doing the view proeprty screen at the moment, that will help explain the agent profile a bit more too.
Yes, the Updated and New! will be near the price somewhere.
I like the idea of the Garage/Bed/Bath being dependant on property type, I hadn't thought of that! |

I think that the agent logo should be included in that this may not be tied to one particular agency. It could be a logo, hyperlink to contact information, etc…
I don’t think many users of the estate module will be for only one particular real-estate or property management firm. Not to mention, it may not make good business sense to limit your potential market share.
I am considering pairing this with the News Article module for a small neighborhood web site. The property module as envisioned, would allow my neighbors to post things they want to sell, including their home. If the module is made flexible enough I could envision other property items for sale (such as bike, books, cars, etc…) that would really expand the module.
If you think about it all property for sale works through a similar workflow with unique attributes per property class (house; rooms, size, kitchen, style, etc…. Car; make, model, miles, etc…)
The attributes and data types can be user defined and if the attribute can be “tokenized” the user can build the placement of the search.
I lobby to have a broader view of the module and not one so tightly wrapped around estate property when a wider view can pretty much encompass all property items. Not to mention, the potential for this module to appeal to a much, much, much wider market.
Most everyone has a tangible item to sell, why limit it only to homes?
Something to consider. Up-Up-and-Away! To the BatCave!

| Yes, I agree about other property types, the first release will be a real estate focus though, and then we'll explore other options. |

Understood. I will focus my comments towards real estate.
You need to have a keyword field for the property so that searching could be made easier.

There is a keyword field in the search, that I was going to use in searching from the title/description. |
