This screen represents the front screen of the "Estate Agent" module. From the two attachment (one GIF and the other visio), you can see what the initial screen of the "Estate Agent" module will look like. Any comments are much appreciated, there will be other designs posted, namely, "Results Page", "Property Details". This is your chance to participate in the development of a new Ventrian module. In regards to this design, the only concern I did have was "Location", is single level enough or should it be hierarchial?

Furthermore, should there be a search criteria for type? e.g. Buy or Rent.

For the Location a simple list would probably work well. Most people on our sites are not that familar with the area anyway so drilling down a hierarchly list might get confusing. What were you thoughts for the location field? (City, Community, Property Type?) Depeding on that I would make the text below the selection to "Select Multiple Locations by holding the CTRL key while clicking" For the Hierarchy list in the future development I think a sub module that we can have a directory type listing ala Yahoo would be nice that you can put underneath the advanced search for people that know the area they could drill down the catergories From City -> Community -> Property Types to the listings they want to see. Would the keywords be pulled from the summaries? Or all fields? Today's ad I would change that to New since you are going to have that feature for listings made in the past X days.

For the location field, it would be up to the administrator of the module, typically it would probably be a list of suburbs I would think? The keywords would be pulled from the summaries.

In that case for our application of the module I would make Locations = Communities.

Any other comments/objections on "Locations" = "Communities", the text would be localizable, not sure what the default should be though.

I think locations is a broader and more flexible label. If you have land listed, it's "location" won't necessarly be in a community (of homes).
