Hi,

When I use this dll my sitemap gets messed up. It looks like this:

[script removed]

without the www it looks fine but when there is just http://planettutorials.com it works fine.

I followed the instruction from the project page 4.5+ version.

Am I missing anything.

Thanks,

The DLL is actually part of the core now in 4.8.1 so you do not want to use it off the site.  Just be sure you follow the instruction about adding friendlyurl to the web.config.

I just looked at your sitemap, did you recently make a change? I couldn't see any errors other than if you are using friendly urls, they are not displaying in your sitemap.

If using 4.8.1, look at your web.config file for this line:
< add name="DNNFriendlyUrl" type="DotNetNuke.Services.Url.FriendlyUrl.DNNFriendlyUrlProvider, DotNetNuke.HttpModules" includePageName="true" regexMatch="[^a-zA-Z0-9 _-]" / >

and change to:
< add name="DNNFriendlyUrl" type="DotNetNuke.Services.Url.FriendlyUrl.DNNFriendlyUrlProvider, DotNetNuke.HttpModules" includePageName="true" regexMatch="[^a-zA-Z0-9 _-]" urlFormat="HumanFriendly" / >

make sure to remove the extra spaces I added (to get it to display in the forum).....

Thank you for your resonse. That is what I did. The url becomes friendly by sitemap gets messed up. I took out the urlFormat="HumanFriendly"  from my web.config as this was causing error with google when they download the sitemap. I will leave the tag on for next 24 hours you can take a look at the sitemap now:

 http://www.planettutorials.com/sitemap.aspx

I just added the urlFormat="HumanFriendly" tag now my config looks like:

<

friendlyUrl defaultProvider="DNNFriendlyUrl">providers>clear />add name="DNNFriendlyUrl" type="DotNetNuke.Services.Url.FriendlyUrl.DNNFriendlyUrlProvider, DotNetNuke.HttpModules" includePageName="true" regexMatch="[^a-zA-Z0-9 _-]" urlFormat="HumanFriendly"/>providers>friendlyUrl>

I wasn't aware of the sitemap issue, sounds like it is not using the navigateurl properly to form urls, it maybe adding the host name on regardless.

Are you going to create a fix for it?

Thanks
