In portal/languages and host/language settings, it is now possible to set a language tag for the URL - and that is the default setting (there is a checkbox : enable language parameters in URL)

Friendlyurls do not work with that - that is a showstopper for non-english websites.

Are you using the latest release of the provider? There is an issue that I'm aware of in host settings at the moment due to the way the core expects certain files in the provider to be a particular class path.

also, if you enable more than one language at same time, friendly urls won't work even you uncheck language boxes in Host > Languages and Admin > Languages.

Can you also investigate this?

I just submitted the changes to the core, I'll talk with Shaun about the best way to handle this.

I'm getting 404 errors with Friendly urls :(

I installed 4.6.2 and applied instructions on Project page to install it. However sometimes it does not work correctly.

I have used same instructions for multiple dnn instances (all of them 4.6.2)

But some of them does not play well with friendly urls.

Do you have any ideas?

Hi,

Is there any update on this item?  I'm using 4.8 and the friendly URLs and the language parameter still don't play together.

They do work with more than one language selected and language parameter unselected though.

Thanks,
