Hey guys,

Could anyone tell me how I avoid duplicate URLs for the same page.  For example /home.aspx & /default.aspx both lead to my homepage.  I notice that ventrian.com has the best possible scenario by pointing to www.ventrian.com.  I'd love to do that, but I'm not sure exatly how.

Any ideas would be great.  Even if you just point me in the right direction.

I don't know about all the duplicate entrys, but as far as redirecting www.mysite to mysite (or vice-versa)- the absolute best discussion I have read covering this is from Tom's blog over at Seablick.com

Interestingly, that particular method of redirect will absolutely introduce a duplicate url (the redirect will land on "mysite.com/default")... I don't know if that has been resolved yet (I am just living with it)

The version of friendly urls that Bruce is working on has a lot of promise...

On Ventrian.com, the following URLs lead to the home page:

• http://www.ventrian.com
• http://www.ventrian.com/home.aspx
• http://www.ventrian.com/default.aspx

However the "Home" navigation link leads to "http://www.ventrian.com".  Any idea how DNN is setup to have "Home" point to "http://www.mydomain.com"
