1) I've modify the web.config
2) I've replace the dll in bin directory
3) I've check the friendly url option with the default role in the host menu,
under you can see the default role

.*/TabId/(\d+)(.*)/Logoff.aspx  ~/Admin/Security/Logoff.aspx?tabid=$1
.*/TabId/(\d+)(.*)/rss.aspx         ~/rss.aspx?TabId=$1
[^?]*/TabId/(\d+)(.*)                ~/Default.aspx?TabId=$1
.*DesktopDefault.aspx(.*)         ~/Default.aspx$1
.*EditModule.aspx(.*)                ~/Default.aspx$1

Is it the right way??

You also need to add the humanFriendly attribute as shown on the project page.
