Hi there, me again:)
My DNN version is : 4.4.1
Friendly URL's Run Perfectly: Installed Friendly URL provider from Ventrian Systems.
The problem is: Search engines; cannot able to crawl pages that contains Turkish character in pagename.
For example : http://portalname.com/Community.aspx is crawled by Search engines.
But: http://portalname.com/SiteHaritası.aspx not. When searchbots visit my website, they cant find this page and other pages contains Turkish characters on pagename.
This is a huge problem for me: Can i disable Friendly URLs for specific pages? Or do i have to disable them at all?
Please help me. Thanks in advance. |

It won't work with Turkish characters because it uses the PageName in the URL, and the URL can only contain english characters.
You cannot currently disable only specific pages. |

| Can you implement the character replace function like you used for News Articles module? I checked source code, but couldn't find where to insert. |

Hi Scott, I have loved your Human Friendly URL modification. I see that the DNN community has loved it to as it is now built into DNN. I am now trying to use a product that does not support Friendly URLs. Is there any way it can be turned off by page yet? If not, do you have any sample code I can pass on to them to disable it just for there modules? I have to much tied up into your friendly URLS to turn them off now. I saw that you do not have it turned on when you use the links for News Articles. Can you share what makes that stop working when someone goes to the link? Thanks Rick |
