Many of the posts in this forum show hyphens in the example URLs... but on my DNN4 site I am not seeing hyphens in the friendly URL for pages where I specify hyphens in the Page Name field.

For example, I would like "My-Test-Page" to show in the address bar as .../My-Test-Page.aspx.  Currently the hyphens are ignored.

I tried changing the regexMatch parameter in web.config to regexMatch="[^a-zA-Z0-9 _]" (I removed the hyphen after the underscore).  This did not do anything... just thought I would mention I tried.

Thanks,
-Charlie

Where did you get the hyphen information? I think that may have been for news article links.

For friendly url rewriting, it uses the TabPath, which already has the spaces stripped out, e.g.

http://www.ventrian.com/Support/ProductForums.aspx (My actual page name is "Product Forums")

You're right Scott... my mistake.  The hyphens were not in the page name.

So, if I want to keep my hyphens, I guess I will have to venture into TabPath.

Thanks,
