Hello,
When I go to categories in the NewsArticles module and I select a caegorie I am getting the following error:

"Multiple controls with the same ID 'Template_668' were found. FindControl requires that controls have unique IDs."

I am using
DotNetNuke 3.1.1.
The modules Text/html and
USearchModules are the only installed ones.
Skin is
Skinergy from Speerio.

To get rod of the error I removed the NA module and put it back on the page, but I am still getting  the same  error,  apart form the template number in the error message.

Can you help me?

Regards,
Jan Bennen

I have the same Problem, with the NewsArticles modul and DNN 3.2.2. But only when I click directly on the category on the "Current Article" page. The "Category Page" works fine, when I enable the "launch links" Option.

I've noticed this occasionally on sites that have 1 or more modules that dynamically add controls, (or skin objects that do this).

I did a bit of searching about 6 months ago on this issue, and it seem to indicate a bug in 1.1 framework around dynamically adding controls, i'm keen to see if this occurs on 2.0 framework as well.

Do you have any skin objects installed as well? As the other post suggestions, is launch links enabled or disabled? The issue really stems from the templating and the dynamically adding of controls.

I have installed the "Venture Skin" and the "page generated" skin object. There are two possible ways to make things work for my installation:

    1. There are no other moduls than the
NewsArticles modul on a page
    2. Enable the "launch links" and delete the [HASCATEGORIES]
::[CATEGORIES][/HASCATEGORIES] Token from the default Template.

Thank you for your answer.
I enabled the "launch links".
But how to delete the [HASCATEGORIES] ::[CATEGORIES][/HASCATEGORIES] Token from the default Template?
Should I edit the source code?

You don't need to change the source code, just edit the Listing.Item.html and the View.Item.html in folder:
\Templates\Default.

I just did what you said, but nothing changed...
Maybe because I am using a different skin (Skinergy from Speerio)?

After deleting the [HASCATEGORIES] ::[CATEGORIES][/HASCATEGORIES], the categorie links should disappear from the current article page.

It is still there.
After the change I did save the files, but nothing changed.
