On the new Shot Box demo page, If you are in the process of typing a shout to someone when it does an autmatic screen refresh, you lose whatever you were typing.  Is this as designed?  Otherise it's a cool module and my compliments to the chef

It refreshed while I was typing and the browser retained the info. I may be a browser issue. I'm using FireFox.

Anybody else run into this or figured it out yet?  I added this new module to my site, but I if i am working in any kind of edit mode in another module on the same page, the refresh of the shout box eats whatever text i am typing in the other modules...doh!

I'll be working on a "smarter" refresh for the next release.

Might be time to use AJAX?

Would it be possible to place the messages area in an IFrame, and refresh only that portion? I know this knocks out a handful of older non-IE browsers but to be honest, it would be a miniscule number since Mozilla has been supporting IFrames for a while now.

Scott, are you planning to add the shout box to the list of forums?  Just curious.... so we can post these comments there instead.

Cool, thanks!..... not to push, but any idea when you might have a chance to look at the refresh issue?  I could really use this module for one of my sites.

Thanks

Thanks a lot! This module is going to be very popular on my community site. I can see it.
