I am going to upgrade to 3.1.  Are there any issues with your modules?

I have upgraded an installation from 3.0.13 to 3.1 and I really can't believe how smooth it went. I have not noticed any issues with any 3rd party modules yet.

I'm going to work this installation a few days before doing the other larger ones I have, but so far it's been a dream.

Back-up, Back-up, Back-up and read the documentation!

Jack's right, Backup, Read Documentation.

Given the module abstraction, I thought it may have broke one or two things, but charles was pretty careful and I don't believe it has impacted anything yet. Having the cache time on the module definition is a really cool idea, as well as now being able to change the module name. (So if you don't like DNNForge - NewsArticles you can rename it just to Articles and not affect your upgrade path).

I've only read the documentation so far and I must say, I already love it! The new module implementation is absolutely great.

Going to install now.

Cheers, Philipp

For those also using WebHost4Life, any issues?  I know it's been some time since I did an install on WH4L, but things went real smooth.  However, I'm ended up missing many of the desktop modules.  Only 4 or 5 were installed.  ?????

Hmm, I haven't had a problem, was it a new install?

Look at your installation folder. The DeskTop modules folder only contains PageTitle, SearchInput and SearchResults.

I've only done an upgrade so I have not looked at whats up with the module, I know they have been seperated from the core and are now in the install\module part of the package.
