I ran into a problem this past weekend. I had some of my subscribers pay me by check for another year. Yet when I went to "extend" their subscriptions, I didn't have a way to do that. As a user I can do this (using PayPal) but I need this same functionality as the administrator. Thanks!

You should be able to go into edit receipts -> add receipt to extend the subscription.
