Hey Scott,

Thought I'd just mention that I think the price increase is more than fair given the quality and quantity of products it gives us. It didn't stop me from renewing just now at current rates, though - my subscription doesn't expire until April, so renewing at current rates is a bit of a bargain

Cheers,

Matt

If Scott would double his prices I would still buy it

Ditto here (but don't tell my boss I said that -- he pays the bill).

Actually, this is a funny topic because a few months back when I met with a few other module developers.

I was asked "How did I come up with the pricing for my site?", my reply was that I worked out how many dollars to replace the part time component of my wage (2 days a week originally). Then I divided it by how many possible members there might be (conservative estimate).

When I switched to full time, I didn't have to change prices as the "possible members number" was conservative. The main reason for the change recently was inflation and the local australian currency is getting stronger compared to the U.S. dollar.

I don't believe that. I think you did this:

Porsche 911 Turbo / Number of Possible Members = Price per Subscription

But the price is not such important... The quality of modules and of the products are much more important (of course, if it is too expensive, nobody will buy it, but with the actual ridiculous prices, these modules are just the best one (with the one of Apollo) !!!!)
