Is there a way to use someone's display name instead of their user name in the shout box? how about the private messaging? I have both on a site, and would like to use a display name rather than user name. Thanks

No, I never got a reply on this topic, which is pretty pathetic that it went 1 year and 3 months without a reply from the staff. I opted to use a different module to achieve the task I was looking for, it is called SwirlChat, it is more expensive, but it is ajax based and works alot smoother than the shoutbox from here.
