Hi I have a few newbie questions. Will this shoutbox run under .net 2.0? Also, is it possible to change colors and box size? Is it using SQL or a text file? cheers Henry

Yes and the colors are definied in the CSS file that you can override. It uses the database (Sql).

Seems to run just fine on our site, really great application. I have the following suggestions. but you probably hear them all before :) * Make the smilies clickable (and show the shortcut as a tooltio) * Make a send button (default activated when user hits enter (CR)) so you don't have to use the mouse when you want to send * Make it configurable for how long the messages is kept. * Give the administrators a "delete og hide" button * A badword filter, we don't need that though. * Configurable colors. * Configurable smilies cheers Henry

I would also add * hyperlinks awareness (click to open a browser) * configurable to show smilies

Sweet. I like it alot and been looking for one... just need it to be sizable and the smiles not be on the page with the box
