I'm using it in various places across my school's website. I've tried other mods but this is certainly the best!

| I've got simple gallery live now. Seems like the full window view opens with the admnistrator skin... akSturgeon.com |

Oddly enough, I haven't had need for an album since subscribing here... but I finely got a chance to put it to use, and it's was an absolute breeze! I'm not using the pop-ups because I'd have to make the window too big for some of the photos, but it's great just having that option. I do notice though that on my wider pictures the little outer frames that simple gallery applies doesn't appear on the sides (when viewing full image)... but it's hardly what I would call a problem. In fact, it's probably something I did. All and all... it was fast, easy, flawless, and the best looking thing on the site. What more can you ask for?

http://www.rexroad.com/AboutMatt/ImageGallery/tabid/84/Default.aspx Looks
great - that frame problem is caused by the width that the photo is in
(skin), is not large enough to fit the photo, so it crops the image.
You could probably try changing the resize to have a smaller width to
make it fit.

This module is great and absolutely worth the subscription rate...i am just getting it going on http:www.rcsoccerclub.com..I plan to give each team a page and gallery as long as the disk space holds out...is there a way to limit the upload file size?

Chuck laRue Not yet -- but it resizes during the upload
process, so it keeps the files to a minimum.. I'll be adding a disk
counter to check against the portal disk space soon, so it will be
perfect for what you need it for..

I am using it in a few places.. I have a 4th coming online soonn
http://www.moparcarbque.com has over 500 car show photos. Also using "Random" photo module.
http://www.theFreeBeerBand.com
http://www.Triton85.com is using the control... This site REALLY needs user uploads.
The car show site, and the reunion site would both GREATLY benefit from a User Upload feature (with an associated photo folder)... this way registered users could have thier own little "space" to upload pics of family or thier car! I love the idea of being able to link ActiveForums to a Simple Gallery User Specific Folder (similar to how Active Forums can be linked to private messages.) so that within active forums messages a link is presented "Gallery". |
