Excellent module Scott! If your going to keep going at this pace you really need to charge more for a subscription I know it's your first release of this module and you probably already have this on the list, but being able to upload and extract zip packages in a photo gallery is very important. It would also be nice to be able to specify a folder for those that ftp. Thanks for another great module! |

Yep, I know about the zip one, basically I will make it if you add a zip, the title becomes the actual file name. That was my only concern when uploading a zip. The ability to specify a folder would be also good, currently, it is Gallery\ModuleID The other ENH I have to do is, sort by date or name. |

| Oh - and with charging more for subscriptions, I may visit this at some point in time. But hopefully, the subscription base will grow, so I can keep the modules at the cheap (and extremely good value) price they are at now. |

After running into the PortaID issue this morning I started thinking more about the ability to specify the folders per module instance. This would be huge benfit to administrators who want to make images available for editors but don't want to give them upload pemissions. Just create a module instance for each editor, set the size properties as something usable in a Text/HTML module, specify the folder /images/EditorName and you have instant web ready images. Most editors and contributors don't have a clue about resizing images, they stick in giant images, then rezise them in the editor. |

| I think being able to specify the folder is a good idea too, I'll add it to the list. |

Scott,
Just curious, how far off is the ability to specify a folder per module instance?
or almost as good, a root folder for all module instances?
Is this something I can do without a recompile? (My guess from what I can see is no)
I would like each instance of the module to at least have it's root in
the images folder instead of Gallery. I would even take
Images\Gallery\ModuleID.
If it's going to be a while I may just move my editor image directory to be "Gallery" instead of "Images"
No sense having pictures on your site that you can't use in the editor.

OK, more thoughts on this........
The default directory for the DNN Core Gallery Module is "Gallery" fine
if thats the only module you use. However, I for one do not like to mix
my "media" types. Images go in images, media in media, flash in flash
and documents in docs.
I guess the bottom line, can you give us a configuration file with the
module that would allow us to select a root directory for all
instances, have it automatically generate the directory based on module
ID inside that folder to keep it simple, yet give the admin or host the
ability to specify a directory if desired?
Thanks,
Jack
