Hey Scott,
Cought you for once I think :) !
I have an old installation 4,6,2 that was running an older Simple Gallery version since a while and all was running fine since recently...
I had a request from the client saying it did not work anymore...
First I updated to the latest Simple Gallery version, nothing changed.
The bug:
When i'm on the "Select image" step, no window opens to allow me to select image on my computer, I checked widow popuo blocking and it's not this....
So I upgraded the portal to DNN 4,9,5 and still... Doesn't work ! :(
I'm out of ressources and think I would need your advice...
Can you help me here ?

Can I get a login to your portal to take a look? (support@ventrian.com)
Normally, I would say upgrade to the latest version but you have already done that! It might be a clash in scripts. |

OK, I can see the issue, it's the accentuated characters in the url, they are throwing the script out.
Deuxièmecycle
Do you need to have that in the url for the page? |

I'm having the same problem with my site.
I'm running DNN v05.01.04 (3) with the latest version of SimpleGallery.
My site is located at www.melbourneknights.com.au

I think I've figured out why this is happening.
Technically, it's not actually a SimpleGallery bug, rather a SWFUpload (the uploading script used by SimpleGallery) conflict with AdobeFlashPlayer..
It's the only explanation I have found...

I think it's directly related to the Flash player runtime error on this page, not sure though.

Humm...
This is not exactly my problem if you read the first thread.
Your problem I think is related to the view selection;
To get the slideshow, click on View Option from ADMIN menu, go on "SlideShow" settings and click "Lightbox". You are probably at standard now...

If it doesn't load the lightbox, it could be related to a jquery conflict on the page. Make sure you are running a recent version of Simple Gallery if you are using DNN 5.
I'll be looking at the issues in this thread first thing Monday. |

| this issue maybe related to a script conflict, I have deployed a fix previously for property agent and will move it into simple gallery. It's related to other scripts overriding the window.onload call. |
