Is there any plan to implement private gallery so any registered member can create their own gallery which only the gallery owner or administrator can add/edit/delete photo in that gallery?

Yes, we are always looking at new features, a "user gallery" is a natural evolution.

I would love to have this function for one of my projects.

Scott,
Any ideas on when this type of functionality might find it's way into production? Seems like this would be such a natural and powerful fit for Simple Gallery. I know my users are asking for it all the time.

Yes, the ability to have a user owned gallery with the option of allowing it to be view publicly would be great.

I would also like to be able to link to specific user galleries by passing a userid as a url parameter and be able to display a list of My Galleries/My Photos in Web 2.0 social network kinda way.

Private/Public is the next evolution (well more granular security).

The original module was "admin" centric.

This financial year, I'm rewriting a major portion of news articles before the next evolution of SG.
