What are tags for?

Is there any way to order photos as you want them rather than sorted by some file attribute?

Any way to move a photo to a sub album or vice versa or between albums if reorganizing a parent album?

Thanks, Dave

Tags are used for describing a photo, they allow a user to create additional groupings not related to albums. e.g. 2007 news years eve

You can sort by title, filename, approve date and create date (view options)

If you click on edit for a photo, you can change the parent album.

So if you add tags to all your photos, how do you take advantage of the grouping ability? Can you now sort on tags? Thanks, Dave

There is a tag cloud module, plus when viewing a photo, you can see the tags associated with the photo, if you click on the link it will take you to a page showing all of those photos belonging to that tag.
