I've sent this through as an email as well, but here it is again in case anyone else find the same thing.

Hi Scott,

I’ve just now installed the new Gallery 02.02.09 on a fresh DNN4.7 portal. I did this to check the lightbox replacement before deciding how to merge the changes with my main portal.

In any case, after adding the module to a page, I noticed that the menus had all vanished. They reappear if I manually navigate away from the page with the module on it.

Firefox reports:
Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE) [nsIDOMParser.parseFromString]"  nsresult: "0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE)"  location: "JS frame :: http://robax.mysite4now.net/js/dnn.xml.js :: anonymous :: line 63"  data: no]

And the Event Viewer reports: Nothing amiss.

You can see it here:
http://robax.mysite4now.net/
Just click through to the gallery tab.

Regards,
Rob

I'm looking into this now - it didn't occur in previous versions.

I now use jQuery which is fairly common API.

It throws this error if the jquery library is included, I just have to work out a workaround now. The bad thing is, it didn't do this in previous versions.

Got it fixed using a custom alias for jQuery (http://docs.jquery.com/Plugins/Authoring#Custom_Alias)

Probably because the core started using something that created a conflict.

It will be in an overnight build.

I'm about to check it, but I've noticed this thread here:
http://www.ventrian.com/Support/ProductForums/tabid/118/forumid/3/tpage/1/view/topic/postid/26233/Default.aspx#26233

I'll wait until you've seen that one and commented.

That other thread should be resolved now.
