Scott.

First, great job on the module. Short, sweet and simple. Perfect!

Now, I am writing a DTS pakcage to convert from Ideaca PHoto Album to your Gallery module. Easy as pie except for the image Height and Width fields. Since Ideaca never stored this info, there is now simple way of getting it. (Yes, I can make the DTS file available if anyone wants it. Could also be done with a direct query as well.)

Sooooo... What about adding an admin option to the module that would re-read all images in a gallery and correctly set their heights and widths. Also resizing could be "re-done" at the same time or another option.

Thoughts?

If the option to specify a directory makes it into this release, which I think it will

I think it would be great to be able to "Maintain" a module so that all the images in the directory were "re-done".

As Jack eluded, I'll be allowing specification for folder, part of that enhancement is a synchronize now option. You might see some action on this module over night, I've been doing a few changes over the last few days and hope to release over night.

Not only AWESOME! But your timing is impeccable. Now I can say that the conversion from Ideaca Photoalbum will be a snap.

BTW, congrats on the working for yourself.

Hey Tom, if you liked that, wait until you see the album support! I'm just in the process of moving ThumbnailImage.aspx to a handler for thumbnailing, should be a little bit faster without the overhead of the page generatation process.

Thanks for the comment about working for myself. I'm sure there is going to be some hard times, but it's good to know that I can spend more time working on things that I like.

Hehehe....I'm just trying to find the right formula to be able to do the same however I have two additional mouths to feed and insurance for 3 to keep up. Makes it a little more pricey to try and do but if it is His  will, I'm sure it will happen someday.

It's nice to talk again like when we were first doing the multi-levels tabs for IBS and DNN when it was still IBSWorkshop. Now that seems so long ago. haha...

Have a great night
