I'm working through the enhancements for this module, should the original photo be stored, or only the resized image? If you have users like mine, they will typically try to upload 3mb files straight from the digital camera. Sometimes it is handy to have the original, e.g. you are running a wallpaper site, and would like to make it about 600 width for display on the screen, but have a download photo button that would download the large waller paper (1024*768)..

I'd say yes.... so you can upload that original photo to an online photo printing shop and get a $$ commission on the print!!!!

Why not an admin or Host only option to say which way to go. Options are a great thing.

As a "Simple" gallery I'm not sure you would need to store the original. I'm with you Scott on the users uploading un-resized photos. Gives me fits I guess as an option it would be ok, but something the host could set.
