After upgrading, some of my thumbnails quit working. The rendered photos are fine, it's just the thumbnails. I've tried deleting the photos with bad thumbs, resynching, FTP-ing, uploading using the file manager, and uploading using the Simple Gallery upload option. The thumbnails still come up "broken".

Help!.

I've had this problem myself, it turned out to be caused by Norton Internet Security on my client side.  Could this be your case as well?

Is your site online so I can take a look?

You can view broken thumbnails at

http://boisehigh1976.com/Galleries/tabid/60/AlbumID/394-27/Default.aspx

If someone could verify that they are broken, then I can rule out the possibility of a PC security problem.

Yep, there are some that are broken, it's caused by the file names, I'll see if I can fix it in code. (in particular it's the .. in the filename)

Gotcha. In the meantime, I will go into the folder and remove the periods/dots from the filenames (that seems like a likely solution). Thanks!

Found the problem, anything in the url such as ".." will automatically throw up a request not found. (due to bit of security checking code up higher in DNN)

I can add some checking to the upload routine to remove the .. (replace it with just .), but you'll probably need to re-upload these photos.

This should now be working in the latest release, you will have to re-upload the current files that are broken as the check is during the upload process.
