Howdy everyone!

I have an existing website with about 250 members already.  We currently have 6 different subscription plans for our website ranging in price and timeframe.

Firstly I apparnalty need to import all of our old users into the new Subscription system.  I saw this post over here http://www.ventrian.com/Support/ProductForums/tabid/118/forumid/14/tpage/1/view/topic/postid/16401/Default.aspx#16401 but noticed it was going on almost 2 years old now.  Is there a newer/better way to import existing users or do I need to pretty much do the same process and import users based on their groups?

I'm trying to setup the Subscription module primarily as a means to renew subscriptions and not to sign people up with it.  We have a complicated approval process that happens after a person registers and they do not actually get an account until we create one.  I have been unable to figure out how to manually add a person to a Subcription group.  I knonw how to add security roles, seeing as that's what we're using already.  I've tried adding people to a security group to see if that adds them to the Subcription system but it doesn't seem to.  If possible it would be nice to have it as an automatic addition process when a new user is created in the administrator if possible.

Thanks for any help!

I think I figured out the manual add part.  Edit Reciepts->Add Recipet I beleive?  Ok yeah, that looks to be it.

Is there any way to automate that process or would I have to write a custom script that runs on a schedule to automatically add new users to their subscription group?

I did a test PayPal purchase using the sandbox and it all worked succesfully.  When I got back to the DNN from PayPal it brought me to a page saying everything was succesful, but it also had a Renewal link on that page, is there some way I can link directly to that information?  As I mentioned I want to use this solely for Subcription renewals and not initial additions.

::EDIT::

Nevermind, figured that out too...

Is everything OK, do you have any more questions?

Yup, I actually figured everything out I needed too.  I just ran all the import scripts and I had setup the rest in place already as well.  Just a bit more PayPal testing and I think I'm done.
