I tested manual add receipt on my site and it does not send any notification o the new subscriber - Is there anyway auto email notification can be done ?

Your right - it only sends from the actual payment. I'll record it as an issue.

I agree, it should send a receipt when you manually add someone.

You can apply discounts to plans, e.g. hand out a code.

Has this been implemented? I am trying to figure out how this is done as well. None of the manually added receipts get a notifcation on my site. Is there something that needs to be done? I am running the most current version of subscription tools.

Interesting. I did a manual add receipt on my sandbox system and started getting email with expiration notices. If it's not implemented how did that happen? :-)

William, I was talking about sending a subscription receipt  not expiration notices - they are two different things. We are still waiting for Scott to add this in ...hopefully soon.
