I had two subscriptions come through yesterday. One silver and one gold.

Both subscriptions were registered on PayPal as completed but the the Gold membership never registered in the receipts of Subscription Tools. The silver membership did.

I had to manually add the user and then discovered that you can not add a processor or transaction ID to a manual addition.

All I could think of was to add this data manually to the SQL table.

Any suggestions as to why the receipt did not generate?

Check the name and address of that user on Paypal. If there are characters in the name/address like Ü or Ö Subscriptions tools fail

Is Scott addressing this issue? Or, is there a work-around? Not pleasant to have a subscriber inform you that they paid and do not have access.

This bug is already in the Subscription Tools since one of the first versions and Scott looked at it several times but did not find a fix....

When manually adding a receipt to Subscription Tools, can you add the form input fields for processor and processor transaction ID. It would avoid having to directly access the database when this issue occurs.

On page 105 of https://www.paypalobjects.com/WEBSCR-500-20080222-1/en_US/NL/pdf/PP_WebsitePaymentsStandard_IntegrationGuide.pdf there is some information regarding the character set that you should set on ipn page. I assume that there is the problem caused with not updating the module if a user has strange characters in a name or address.
