1.  What is the best way to test the subscription module without actually transacting the money.

2.  Also is there a way to change the description text. For example:

Scott,

I figured out the question #2.

How do you manually add a user, so that the subscription module will show the current status? I did a test, in which I added a user account to one of the roles, but I still get the signup form and not the status dispaly, like you have on your site.

Hi!
I had the same problem (1) like you just a few days ago.
I found out that you can't use the site's user list for tests.
So I've created a $.10 plan (10 cents) and signed the plan to someones paypal acount.
(You can't pay for yourself.)
He became rich in 10 cents and I knew it is working.

I would like to be able to test all the the differnet options, but I can't lay out that type of cash.

I would still like to know how to manually add users to the subscriptions module. For example member John Doe pays for his annual membership by Check (snail mail), but now wants to check this membership status online. I can manually add him to the role, but I don't think I can see a status.

Any thoughts?

When someone signs up for a "hosting plan" on this site, I got into edit receipts and click "add receipt".

This allows me to add a user to a plan/role and also notify them automatically.

Scott,
Great. This is what I was looking for. Is there a way to adjust the Start Date?

But I can change it from the DB directly. If so that is not a problem.

Okay, I can work with that... The next time you get a chance to update that module, can you add the ability to make start/end date editable.

Thanks.

Once again, you have some of the best modules out there.
