Last week, I received a notice from Rod, at Smart-thinker, that my subscription was due and had failed. This was due to a credit card, attached to the subscription, that was lost and replaced with a new card. I went to PayPal, added the correct card to the account and deleted the old one. Rod told me that this action had removed the subscription account. Is there any way to avoid this situation with subscription tools?

What version ST is that? I doubt that can happen with the latest version because it does not use auto renewal. That only happens with the core solution and IMHO that is correct behavior because the system cannot renew when something changes at Paypal.

Rod was using the core subscription functionality. Mariette is right, ST does not use auto-renewals.
