I have a request to show the topics and pages of one site on another.  I have used the child links to create a dictionary on http://www.duhaime.org/LegalDictionary/A.aspx and now I have a request to display the same information on another site.

There are two ideas here, one was to use the RSS feature but nothing came through then I thought about Inventua's shadow module but it only works where you don't need to configure the module to display.  Essential it creates a reference instance of the module on the new portal but you can't access the set up so you can't tell Child Links what to display.

Do you have any ideas? I would prefer to make a clean xml feed of the information because then we could syndicate the data on non-dnn websites.  It would give us more design power too via xlst

There are probably 2 solutions, allow child links to have a portal option in advanced settings or create an RSS feed that you can link to (based on pages shows in child links)

I would prefer the RSS so that each child link is a item in the feed. This would allow for much more powerful transformations. but… I can see this going off-scope of the child links module.

Scott, is there any chance of adding RSS to child links module? I too need to syndicate some Child links onto another site (several sites). I cannot find a Portal Option in Advanced Settings is there something I am missing?
