Very nice work with the Friendly URL's.  Stopped everyone from gripping at me about the default DNN URL's.

I get an error when using Frieldnly URL's (Runtime Error - as when you go to a page that does not exist) and then clicking all the menu items under 'Host' with exception of 'Module Definitions'.  I am using DNN 4.62, and the House Menu.  Therefore the links listed under 'Host' are http://www.co.calaveras.ca.us/cc/Host/Host%20Settings.aspx etc... rather than whatever they are in the SolPart menu (link is hidden).  My work around is that the Admin pages use a default DNN skin, so I jump to Admin settings first and then to Host settings.

If you have a work around I can implement that would be great.

Thanks for all your hard work on this.

-Jeff

You should upgrade to DNN 4.7+ and use the inbuilt provider now, you just have to switch on urlFormat="HumanFriendly" and it will work exactly the same without the host issue.

That's good to know.  I will have to experiment with upgrading to DNN 4.7+.  How likely is it that I will have issues with modules and what not?

Do you know of a good walk through for a checklist before upgrade?

Upgrading from 4.6.2 to 4.8.2 went very smooth. I found the walk-through at http://www.mitchelsellers.com/Blogs/tabid/54/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/194/Upgrading-to-DotNetNuke-482-from-4x.aspx to be very useful.

I added this switch and it worked as you say. Are you responsible for this in the core project?

Thanks Scott for the tip.
