Hi, Does anyone out there can help me with this rather urgent issue ... after upgrade I cant login any more ! It just say: Login Failed, remember that Passwords are case sensitive I can create new registration and login OK ..it just the existing users / Admin/ Host cant not login ! cant anyone help some some tips to get arround this ? many Thanks

Did you remember to copy your machine key from your old web config?

Yep That was the it - I forgot ! I new I would be something to do with the webconfig file . Thanks pal Glen

Now that Login is no longer a problem..however there is this other folow up issue - it seem now that everytime I upgrade a new module or change any settings under the Host Tab then this error came up : A critical error has occurred. Multiple controls with the same ID 'ScriptManager' were found. FindControl requires that controls have unique IDs. .... but if I refresh the browser then the error disappear and things are as normal! I suspect it has something to do with the upgrade 4.5.5 to 4.8.0 which I forgot to change the machine key - may be my Dnn install now has an extra machine keys somewhere ? If so can some one show me how do I clean it up ? Thanks for any help Glen

I'm pretty sure this is an issue with the core and not just in your install, try 4.8.1 when its released.
