Can anyone recommend a good Flash media player for DNN.  I would like one that plays FLV files.  I tried the Alive FLV Player but I am having trouble getting it to work.

Thanks

You probably need to configure the server properly and add flv files as a MIME type

I'm actually working on a FLV module that uses ffmpeg to dynamically convert the files to flv (like youtube does).

Is this something you would be interested in? It would require ffmpeg to be installed on the server.

That sounds like it would be something I am interested in.  As opposed to having to convert before you upload it would be nice to have the system do it all at once.

That being said I found a free program called Riva that converts the video files to FLV but can't find a module that will play those files.  Is there a program that will convert to swf files?

Thanks!

I've used RIVA as well, not sure about SWF
