I think my site exception issues amy have something to do with the DNN 4.5.3 upgrade  which some DNN users are talking about in this DNN forum thread ?

Hi Guys,

My site has just crashed !! I recently upgraded fr 4.5.1 to 4.5.2 then to the latest 4.5.3 .... and never before did i expenciece so many bug after an DNN Upgrade!! (I guess I now learned it the hard way -that i should keep myselve up to date with what is going on in DNN forum before doing any upgrade !!)  I understand that DNN core team members are working hard on the fix and hopefully  will have a fix soon   ... but is there anything i can do in the mean time to get my site up again ???

Thanks Scott,

Other DNN user are experiencing the same problems as mine and it got something to do with Search function  in Modules see this thread
So problems might still be there even after I restored fr back up !  Can you investigate if this issue related to PA search functions ... ??

I finnally traced the the problem was due to the latest DNN core Events module and after delete this module - it did not show anymore Log Errors in the Event Viewer . So here is the lesson for anyone following this post - dont upgrade DNN 4.5.3 and the latest Events module yet !!

I have had a similar error involving index and arrays.
Scenario was: all working well, i went away for an hour, came back and the application would run, but threw the error when i tried to access the login page (one i setup myself).
So, i went and made a small change to the web.config (which i later undid), saved it, then all worked.
I believe this is equivalent to an application restart.
Hope this helps others.
