I've posted a new build for Simple Gallery in the downloads section (members only).

New Functionality Includes:-

• Resize Option will no longer put the file through the resizing algorithm, original file is maintained.
• Photo Width & Photo Height now represents resizing of photos and photo width & height of the slideshow. So if a photo is not resized, it will be dynamically resized in the slideshow and a link to download the original photo provided.
• Added an additional option to specify a High Quality or Minimum File Size compression algorithm. When using high quality you should see vast improvements in picture quality, but keep in mind, this will also increase file size. (see demo here)
• Added a lot of caching to the HttpHandler, this should improve speed/load quite a bit.
• Updated the DNN file to include friendly name, etc, this will allow you to successfully rename the module in module definitions.

Fixed Bugs Include:-

• Submitting an unapproved photo to an album with 0 photos no longer makes the album disappear.
• The image displayed for an album will no longer select unapproved photos.

I'm still working on better gif compression, as discussed here.
