I've posted a new build for News Articles in the downloads section (members only).

New Functionality Includes:-

• Hierarchical Categories! You can now structure your categories in a hierarchy and sort in a custom order.
  
• News Archives module now enhanced with option to filter by parent category and category depth. e.g. a depth of 2 would show categories 2 levels deep.
• On the view category page, the hierarchy of the category will be added to the dotnetnuke breadcrumb trail (this can be disabled in admin options -> category settings -> Include in Breadcrumb.
• On the view category page, the name of the page (as well as the page title) are overriden with the name/hierarchy of the category. This can be disabled in admin options -> category settings -> Include in page name?
• On the view category page, the top section is now templatable by 2 templates, Category.Html and Category.Child.Html. The category.html shows the current category information with the option to place a [CHILDCATEGORIES] token which will dynamically load the Category.Child.Html template for each child category. An updated list of tokens can be found here.
• The filter by category for the main news article instance has been restructured to avoid postbacks and provide the option to fitler the front current articles to appear as if you were viewing a category (e.g. the top category template is rendered).
• Added an option in Admin Options -> Comment Settings -> Notify Default, this will allow you to force the notification checkbox on comments to be checked by default.
• New tokens for view.item, and listing.item. [ISANONYMOUS][/ISANONYMOUS], [ISNOTANONYMOUS][/ISNOTANONYMOUS], [ISNOTSECURE][/ISNOTSECURE], [PRINTLINK]
• Added an option in Admin Options -> Syndication Link Mode. This will allow you to control whether or not a RSS feed links always to the article or to a file/url (if specified)

Fixed Bugs Include:-

• The comment link should now work properly in the standard template.
• Fixed a categories.help resx issue.
• RSS by month/year should work properly again.
• "Articles" keyword is now localizable on the archives page.
• Fixed an order by issue that was happening on some installs.
• Fixed a style issue in the standard template when an image ran into the article below.
• Hide zero categories in the date archives should work properly again.
• Hiding the publish date via the security settings should work now.

The version number has skipped a few version because of internal testing.
