I've posted a new build for News Articles in the downloads section (members only).
New Functionality Includes:- - All templates are now in UTF-8 Format to handle foreign characters.
- The
Read More Link will only appear when there is 1 or more pages. (Default
template), You can add this to your own templates by adding
[HASMULTIPLEPAGES]SomeText[/HASMULTIPLEPAGES] - Extra configuration in Latest Articles, you can now sort by:-
- PublishDate (this is the default)
- Most Viewed
- Most Commented
- Highest Rated
- Syndication can now be disabled in admin options. (It will hide the link)
- Featured no longer bubbles to the top.
- "..." will only appear in latest articles if there is more text
Fixed Bugs Include:- - Next Page text in resx file corrected (View Article)
- Text Editor Width set to 450px, it will be configurable in the next version
There should be a version released mid-week to address some of the issues I couldn't fit into this release, these are:-
- Some changes to publish date. Publish Date will now equal creation date if not specified.
- Localization
- Module Titles
- Categories, Syndication, Search
- Next/Previous Page inside an article
- Link to None, File, Page, Url (specifying none will point it at an article)
